Customizing a report

A number of reports are available in the Report Manager. See Viewing reports.

Use this procedure to customize the results shown in a report:

  1. Using the XBOUND Management Center, open a console containing the Report Manager.

  2. Select Report Manager > Dashboard in the Console pane.

  3. Click Reports ().

  4. Find the report you want to customize and then click Settings ().

  5. Specify the appropriate settings, depending on the report you selected:

    • Average System Performance in Documents/h

    • Background Performance in Documents/h

    • Current Background Performance in Documents/h

    • Current System Performance in Documents/h

    • Manual Performance in Documents/h

    • Number of Documents in Backlog

      Number of statistics sync requests

    • Number of Tasks Last Hour

    • Total Documents

    1. Specify the values for the three ranges shown in the gauge. You can also select a custom color for each range.

    2. Click Apply.

    3. If desired, select the gray box () for a gradient between the colors.

    • Current Total Processing Time per Process
    1. Select the time span (day, week, month, or overall) used to calculate the average processing time.

    2. Select the number of processes.

    3. Click Apply.

    • Number of Documents per Reporting Category
    1. Select which client and process to include in the results.

    2. Click Apply.

    Tip

    The selected client and process are saved locally, in the console settings. (ClosedWhere? Normally in C:\Users\<UserName>\<ConsoleName>.XMC). Administrators can save consoles to the XBOUND root directory.)

    This means that you can create different views of this report for different clients and processes by adding multiple instances of the Report Manager to your console (see instructions).

    By selecting Own connection settings when you do so, you can even connect to different systems and monitor those different systems from a single console.

  6. Click the Save button:
