In XBOUND you can collect statistical data and save it in this separate database during the processing of documents. XBOUND Help describes how to set this up.
The statistics database has the same structure as the main XBOUND database. Saving the data to this separate database prevents overloading the main database.
These statistics provide the basis several of the reports – also described in XBOUND Help – that use Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS).
You can also interpret these statistics using common analysis tools, and you can create your own custom reports. In order to do so, you need an understanding of the statistics database. This Help describes the statistics database for that purpose.
This document is intended for consultants or other advanced users of XBOUND. You should have knowledge of XBOUND, including how to set up a report and how to create a database query.
This Help describes the statistics database used by XBOUND 3.7.1 and later. Changes after 3.7.1 have comments that indicate the version in which the change was implemented.
You must install and configure SSRS. See XBOUND Installation Guide for instructions.
The Agent for Reporting must be configured – see XBOUND Help topic "Configuring a system agent".
Important |
Data is not automatically deleted from the statistics database. From time to time, old data must be deleted manually using an appropriate database maintenance program.

We continuously strive to improve XBOUND-related documentation. Your feedback is appreciated. You can report errors or give other feedback using the box at the bottom of each topic. Your comments are visible to other users.
An IoraTech component provides the commenting function in the help. This version is supplied by default. The www.ioratech.com website can be set as a trusted zone to prevent any warning messages that your browser may otherwise display. Alternatively, you can request a version of the help file that does not include the commenting function.
You can also report errors or provide other feedback by sending email to documentation@readsoft.com.
