System requirements

It is recommended that you install Device Web Server (DWS) Standalone on a different server than eCopy ShareScan.
Component Requirement
Operating system Use one of the following 64-bit operating systems:
  • Windows Server 2008 - Standard, Enterprise, and Datacenter
  • Windows Server 2008 R2 - Standard, Enterprise, and Datacenter
  • Windows Server 2012 - Standard and Datacenter
  • Windows Server 2012 R2 - Standard and Datacenter
  • Windows Server 2016 - Standard and Datacenter
Memory At least 6 GB available
Processor 4 x 2 GHz or greater
Hard disk 2 GB or greater
Device Registration Service (DRS)

Install version 7.11 or later.

Upload the client package that matches your version of the DWS.
eCopy ShareScan Install version 6.1 or later. It is recommended that you install eCopy ShareScan on a different server than the standalone DWS.
Note: Under certain circumstances and scenarios (in case no other web-based client or simulator is used), DWS and eCopy ShareScan can reside on the same server.
