The Nuance® Convert Assistant gives you control over the conversion process from PDF to editable formats.
Open the Assistant from the Windows Start menu in the Power PDF group, from the shortcut menu on the Power PDF icon in the taskbar and many other locations.
Convert Assistant serves for
opening source files (PDF/XPS) to be converted, by selection or drag-and-drop.

The views
The Assistant always converts whole pages, but page areas can be selected in Power PDF to be directly converted to a selected target with the following tool:
Find this at Advanced Processing > Export > Export Area. This lets you send, for example, just one table to Excel or the content for just one slide to PowerPoint.
It is possible to perform direct conversions without using Convert Assistant.
