Use these settings to adjust the format specification, output format, rotation, security, and paragraph settings of a field definition or value identifier definition. The default settings are taken from the field profile or value identifier profile.

Specifies the format of the field. The field format must match the format specification in the Value box of the Field learning dialog. |

Abc |
Rotate the field 90, 180 or 270 degrees before interpreting it. This option is useful for fields that are printed vertically in the margin of a document, for example. It is not available for value identifiers, which must be horizontal. |

The field is located X lines from the top of the paragraph, where X is the number you type in the box. Number 1 is the second line, and so on. |

The field is located X lines from the bottom of the paragraph, where X is the number you type in the box. Number 1 is the second line from the last, and so on. |
