Note: Do not confuse this activity with the RCF Verification activity.
This activity is used to configure how operators will verify and correct the structure of documents in the Document Verifier.
If for some reason you need to add this activity to the Process Designer, the file to add is xboundActQuality.dll.
The following settings are available when configuring a process step of this activity type.

When you create a new document using

The name of the document that was selected in the Document Manager is kept as the name of the new document. | |
The name of the document that was selected in the Document Manager is adopted and extended by an underscore and a sequence number. | |
You can cancel documents in the Document Verifier. | |
You can cancel all media belonging to a sheet in the Document Verifier. | |
You can cancel individual media in the Document Verifier. | |
Select to disable operations (such as rotating) that change media. | |
Select to disable moving sub-documents and media to another root document. | |
Select to disable creating
new documents using the

Select whether to rotate all media of the current page, all media of the current sheet, or only the current medium. (See sheet vs. page.) | |
After saving, the Document Manager is displayed to select the next documents. (See Selecting and opening documents for processing.) | |
Select to enforce a visual inspection of all media of the selected types before the root document can be checked in. | |
Shortcuts tab | |
Use the settings on this tab to configure keyboard shortcuts for the Document Verifier. Change the shortcut for a certain function by applying the shortcut to the text field of the desired function. Reset the shortcut by clicking . A list of the shortcuts is available in the Document Verifier by opening the dialog. | |
Classify tab | |
Select to restrict which document types are available for classification. In other words, choose which document types can be assigned to the documents. To do so, select the document types that you want users to be able to select, and then click . | |
This setting gives you the ability to manually add a separator anywhere in the root document or in a sub-document. (Instructions.) | |
These settings are also available:
button | Imports settings from an XML file that was previously created using . |
button | Exports the settings to an XML file. Specify the file name and location. You can then import the XML file to get the same settings. See Exporting and importing process step settings. |
link | Opens a test form, where you can (when applicable) check a regular expression. |
