TwainMemoryReadString Method (TwainItemType, Int64)

Reads a TW_STR32, TW_STR64, TW_STR128, TW_STR255, TW_STR1024 or TW_UNI512 from the specified memory offset.

Parameters

itemType
Type: Atalasoft.TwainTwainItemType

The TWAIN string item type to read.

If an item type other than TWTY_STR32, TWTY_STR64, TWTY_STR128, TWTY_STR255, TWTY_STR1024 or TWTY_UNI512 is provided, nothing will be read.

offset
Type: SystemInt64
The number of bytes from the beginning of the memory to the start of the data.

Return Value

Type: String
The string value at the specified offset.
Exceptions
ExceptionCondition
Thrown if the TwainMemory has been disposed.
Thrown if the offset is invalid for this TwainMemory object.
Remarks
This method does not change the Position of the TwainMemory object.
