TwainMemoryWriteString Method (String, TwainItemType)

Writes a TW_STR32, TW_STR64, TW_STR128, TW_STR255, TW_STR1024 or TW_UNI512 into memory at the current position and advances the position.

Syntax
public void WriteString(
	string value,
	TwainItemType stringType
)

Parameters

value
Type: SystemString
The value to write. If this value is null (Nothing in VB), an empty string is written.
stringType
Type: Atalasoft.TwainTwainItemType

The TWAIN string item type to write.

If an string type other than TWTY_STR32, TWTY_STR64, TWTY_STR128, TWTY_STR255, TWTY_STR1024 or TWTY_UNI512 is provided, nothing will be written.

Exceptions
ExceptionCondition
Thrown if the TwainMemory has been disposed.
Thrown if the Position is invalid for writing this data.
Remarks
This method will increase the Position by the number of bytes stringType requires.
