Remarks

Halftone removal is designed for regions that originate as shaded color or grayscale areas that when thresholded to black and white, end up with a halftone texture. OCR engines generally cannot recognize text that is surrounded by halftoning. This command can be used as pre-processing prior to OCR for improved OCR accuracy.

When applying this command, the resulting ImageResults is an instance of HalftoneRemovalResults containing the rectangular boundary of each detected halftone region.
