This topic describes the features and enhancements included in Kofax Unified Client for Xerox 1.2.0.

Enhancements to the Print Release screen

The Print Release screen has the following enhancements:

  • The Print Job Refresh button updates the job list. This enables users to access their new jobs quickly.

  • User can delete individual jobs by swiping or tapping the Delete button.

User interface enhancements

Entry fields have a Clear button (), the Scan Settings screen has the same icons as other unified clients, and the Print Details screen has been redesigned for clarity.

Microsoft Entra ID support

Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) is now available for card registration. This feature supports multi-factor authentication through a desktop computer or mobile device.

Fax job tracking

When using the ControlSuite Authentication module, fax activity is recorded and billed to the user's department or specified account. Fax jobs are sent to the central database for reporting.

Print preferences for multiple print jobs

In Output Manager, print preferences can be applied to multiple print jobs.

New capture features

The following capture features have been added to this version:

  • Documents can be routed to an DocuShare repository. Component and password RRTs can be used within this workflow.

  • Users can search and apply filters to select folders to scan documents to in AutoStore.

  • Administrators can configure the Scan-To-Email form in AutoStore to hide or pre-fill emails addresses in the To field. This enables emails to be sent to a specific email address and restrict users from removing recipients.

  • Text fields in AutoStore can be configured with minimum and maximum lengths, include separators, or set to numeric-only fields.

  • Numeric fields in AutoStore can be configured with minimum, maximum, and precision entries.

  • Additional RRTs have been made available. These include the following:

    • Device Type

    • Device Model Name

    • Firmware Version

    • Unified Client Version

    • Device MAC address

    • Device Host Name

    • Device Serial Number

    • Page Count

    • Scan Time

    • Resolution

    • Color Mode

    • Original Size

    • Scan Size

    • 2-Sided Original

Updated components and TLS support

The following component were updated:

  • Amazon Corretto to 8.382.05.01.

  • Apache Tomcat to 9.0.79.

Support for TLS 1.3 was added.
