What's new
The following new features and enhancements are introduced in Kofax FraudOne 4.6.0:
Full 64-bit enablement
FraudOne 4.6.0 replaces all third-party 32-bit components with 64-bit versions, if they are available.
Starting with Kofax FraudOne 4.6.0, you are required to replace any existing 32-bit components and services with 64-bit versions. You can also use the 64-bit edition of Open JDK.
The third-party libraries from Parascript (CheckStock & CheckPlus) are not available for a 64-bit environment and the 32-bit versions must be used.
For customers using the Parascript libraries, a 32-bit version of the required FraudOne components are available on request.
Standard editor functionality in the Administration Client
Kofax FraudOne 4.6.0 introduces the following new editor functionalities in the Administration Client:
- Search and replace
- Line number display
- Syntax highlighting
- Different color schemas
Support for OpenJDK
Kofax FraudOne 4.6.0 is enabled to run Java components using Amazon Coretto.
Security and performance improvements
Kofax FraudOne 4.6.0 introduces the following performance improvements.
Improved message encryption
FraudOne now encrypts all information in the message header and message body. Previously, only the login name and password were encrypted in the message header.
Kofax FraudOne 4.6.0 uses the AES (Advanced Encryption Standard) algorithm for the entire message.
Enhanced LiveInfo data exchange
With LiveInfo, you can use the Server Manager to start or stop FraudOne servers and monitor their states (running, stopped, error, or other).
To improve performance and use a more generic architecture for these operations LiveInfo has been moved from the Windows Registry to Shared Memory.
New internal License Manager
To ensure the Server Manager always works correctly even if the DB connection is lost, the Server Manager must be able to restore functionality if the DB connection is restored.
The new License Manager is designed accordingly.
