Add static text

You can create static text in a Form or a QForm. This can be useful to add text before all the questions.

Note In ComposerUI for HTML5, in the Content Wizard, individual questions defined in a QForm will be presented in isolation to the end user. As a result, groups and any static text do not have effect on what will be presented to the end user at runtime.

  1. In the Form or QForm Editor, on the toolbar, click Add item > Text.

    The Text panel appears.

  2. Enter the text to the Display text field.

    The entered text appears in the document structure.

    You can use HTML to format the display text. You can also insert a Field from the Fields list if it is already in the Data Backbone. To do so, click Add field and select a certain Field.

  3. Click Save.
