Known issues
This topic contains information about potential issues you may encounter while using Kofax Communications Manager 5.8.0. Workarounds are included, as applicable.

| 2099628 | Issues with example applications that are named “ccm”. | If you name your example web application "ccm" and then remove it, this action also removes the Contract Manager and breaks the KCM application. | Do not use "ccm" as the name of the example web application. |
| 2100196 | Unable to specify Shared Resource Location during installation. | Install.exe does not have the ContractManager!SharedResourceLocation parameter. | Install the components manually: this parameter is available in the AddContractManager.exe tool. If you have done the full installation, you can uninstall the Contract Manager and install it again. |
