Known issues

This topic contains information about known issues that you may encounter while using the export connector. Workarounds are provided, as applicable.

Multi-value separator description not accurate in online help

1892598: The help topic for the General Settings tab says that you can specify up to two characters as the multi-value separator. This statement is not accurate, because the export connector works properly when the separator contains only one character.

Unable to install export connector on Windows 11 Japanese operating system

1885551: Kofax Export Connector 8.2.0 for Documentum Content Server cannot be installed on a Windows 11 Japanese operating system.

Workaround: You can perform following steps to install the program in compatibility mode:

  1. Right-click the setup file for the program and select Properties.

  2. Select the Compatibility tab.

  3. Place a check mark next to Run this program in Compatibility mode, and select Windows 8 from the drop-down list.

  4. After the program is installed, verify the functionality.
