Fax server tab

Use this tab to configure the RightFax Server parameters for handling the incoming (RightFax server to Message Connector) and stored messages on RightFax Server.

Keep messages on RightFax server: The option selected in this field decides whether the messages received from RighFax server are deleted or not once they are successfully received inMessage Connector. Select one of the following options:

  • [0] No, delete fax after transfer to MC
  • [1] Yes, set GenericFlag1 (for RightFax/COM)
  • [2] Yes, set client GenericFlag2 (for RightFax/COM)
  • [4] Yes, set COM-Api GenericFlag2 (for RightFax/COM)

  • [8] Yes (for RightFax/REST)

Note If you have selected to keep the processed messages on RightFax server, provide an appropriate method to delete processed messages to avoid RightFax server inbox full issue.

Bad content mode: Select a method to handle messages with reception error.

  • [0] Retry every 10h (Default): Retry to poll the message with reception error after every 10 hours.

  • [1] Process as message with content error: Message Connector Treats the messages with reception error as messages with document conversion error.
  • [2] Process as rejected message: Messages are not imported into Kofax App.
Note If option [1] or [2] is configured, corrupted messages from RightFax server are converted in an email with body text as "Bad fax image received" and the corrupt TIFF files are added as attachments.
