Golden files are ideal examples of documents that contain correct classification and extraction data. These golden files can then be used to test the extraction and classification results in Transformation Designer with benchmarks. You can create a set of golden files by running test documents through a process map in TotalAgility and then export them so that they can be edited and utilized in Transformation Designer.

When reviewing the files in the Repository Browser, keep the following in mind:

• Do not include PDF files if you wish to perform a separation benchmark, as these files are not supported for this type of benchmark.

• Select typical documents rather than obscure examples.

• Select clean documents rather than those with blotches or dark areas that could interfere with recognition results.

You can export ideal examples so that they can be used as golden files in Transformation Designer.
