Configure a SharePoint Create Site activity
- Add a SharePoint Create Site activity to the map. See Add an activity.
- On the Extended Properties page of the SharePoint Create Site activity, click the Configuration tab.
- Consume the SharePoint site in the SharePoint Site box.
- Enter the Site URL for the new site using a dynamic or static value.
- Enter the Title for the site using a dynamic or static value.
- Enter a Description for the site using a dynamic or static value.

From the
Templates list, select a
template to apply to the site.
Note Default SharePoint templates and custom templates are available for selection.

To display the navigation tabs for accessing parent site pages
from the new site, click
Yes for
Parent Site Navigation.
Note If you select No, only the new site page is displayed.

To use a site with the same name in the selected location, click
Yes for
Use Site if Already
Exists.
At runtime, the system completes the job created on this activity using the existing site. If you select No and try to use a site with the same name, the job fails.

To automatically retrieve the site identifier from SharePoint when
the activity is completed,
consume the variable in the
Return Value Unique Identifier
box.
If TotalAgility finds insufficient privileges or incorrect parameter values, the activity is not created and the job is suspended. Error details appear in the event Log.
- Click Save.
