Integrate TotalAgility with Kapow

See Kapow.

  1. On the Home page, click Integration > Kapow.

    The Kapow Servers page appears.

  2. To open the Kapow Server Configuration, click Add Add for Kapow Servers.
  3. Enter an ID for the Kapow server. The system identifies the Kapow server with this ID.
  4. In the Display Name box, enter the Kapow Server name. This helps you identify the server name in the Consume list.
  5. Enter a URL for the Kapow Server.
Note Kapow is installed independently from TotalAgility. Install Kapow on the same machine or a separate machine.
  6. Select a Communication Type to use, either .NET or REST APIs.
Note The .NET option is only available for TotalAgility on-premise; it is not available for TotalAgility in an Azure environment.
  7. Optionally, provide user credentials.

    The possible authentication combinations are:

    • No authentication.

    • Management Console Authentication only. Enter the user name and password.

    • RoboServer Authentication only. Enter the user name and password.

    • A combination of Management Console Authentication and RoboServer Authentication. Enter the user name and password for both.

Note The Management Console is a web-based interface that provides point-and-click monitoring and management of the Kapow Katalyst platform servers.

RoboServer is the Kapow Katalyst application for running robots as a service for clients. Once started, RoboServer accepts requests from clients, such as robot execution requests, and sends back responses, such as the objects that a robot extracted during its execution.

  8. To confirm the connection to the Kapow server, click Test Connections.
