General Tab - Trainable Evaluator Properties Window
The Trainable Evaluator trains the correct alternative from the input locators for each subfield. This training information is applied during extraction, and for each subfield, the best alternative is chosen from their respective input locators.
During configuration, it is important to add representative training documents for each subfield.
The table has the following columns:
- Name

Add a descriptive name for the subfield.
- Input Locator

Select the input locator from the list.
- Micro Layout
-
This option determines the geometry of the area around the input locator for analysis.
The following options are available for the Micro Layout:

Table based.
A Trainable Evaluator alternative is expected to be either in the row to the left or the column directly above an input locator. Use this option when searching for content located in tables. This is the default value for this option.

Left top orientated.
The search result is expected to be located to the top and left of the input locator. For example, if the input locator is located in the middle of the page, the alternative should be found in the top left quadrant of the document. Use this option when searching for content located in captions or before colons.

Symmetric.
The search result is expected to be located within an equal distance in all directions from the input locator. Use this option when searching for content that is located in running text.

Line oriented.
The search result is expected to be located in line, to the left or right of the input locator. Use this option when searching for content in the same line.

In addition to the common Transformation Designer buttons, the following buttons are provided:
- Add

Adds a new subfield row to the list where you can configure it as needed.
- Delete

Deletes the selected subfield from the list.
- Up

Moves the selected subfield up one position in the list.
This and the following option is for organizational purposes only. The order of subfields does not affect the output of this evaluator. - Down
