Kofax Capture Network Server (KCN Server) support

Kofax Capture Network Server (KCN Server) adds Internet and intranet processing capabilities to Kofax Transformation Modules. With this capability, workstations can be connected to a central site through the Internet (or an intranet) to assist in the validation process. Batches can be scanned at a remote site, and then uploaded to the central site only for validation and verification.

As KCN Server is fully supported by Kofax Transformation Modules - Server you only have to run Kofax Transformation Modules - Knowledge Base Learning Server at the same site as the Server.

Important Note that the option "Copy project during publish" from the Extended Synchronization Settings window must be selected for a batch class to be able to use Kofax Transformation Modules at remote site. If the setting is not enabled and a user sends a batch to the remote site for validation or verification, the following error is displayed, "Failed to load project, because: Invalid file path "C:\<file path>\*.fpr"."

If a batch class is first used with the option "Copy project during publish" enabled and then you choose to de-select this option, the project information is still retained. You are still able to use Kofax Transformation Modules at remote site and no error is displayed.
