Filter batches
The batches listed in the Available Batches window can be numerous and a somewhat overwhelming to users who only focus on specific batches.
Batch filtering enables users to remove any unwanted batches from the Available Batches window in order to have a more personalized view of the batches they are responsible for processing. This means that users are no longer required to scroll through irrelevant batches that are processed by other users.
Once filtering is enabled and one or more filter types are added, this information is cached for the user and are available the next time they log on.
You can add or deactivate filters at any time. However, before you can use those filters, you must enable filtering by following these steps:
- If you are currently editing a batch, finish processing the batch or suspend the batch so you can access the Available Batches window.
- From the toolbar, select Open Batch.
-
Select the
Enable filtering setting.
Now that filtering is enabled, you can add individual filter criteria by clicking on the Filter button.
