Ribbon Overview

Ribbons are accessed by a series of tabs in the Menu bar. Click the tab of the open ribbon to hide it; click again to restore it. Settings under Initial View allow both the ribbon and the tabs to be hidden. If you receive such a PDF document, press F9 to restore them.

Ribbons can be floated; drag-and-drop the tab of the current ribbon to undock it. Drag the tab again (not the Window's title bar) onto the ribbon area to re-dock the ribbon.

If your program window is narrow, you may not be able to see all groups in a ribbon. Blue arrowheads on the left or right show that groups are hidden. Click the active arrow to scroll the view, or widen the program window.

To find a tool

Use the control top right of the ribbon bar. Enter a tool name. This opens the panel containing the tool.  If the panel is already open it is closed.
