Detailed Description

This is the API extension for managing different kinds of PDF operations. RecPDF API-level of CSDK is supported on: Windows, Linux, MacOS.

This part of OP CSDK is an extension to the KernelAPI and RecAPIPlus. Main functionalities:

• Extracting information from PDF files. (Mostly rPdfGet functions.)
• Page-level manipulations of PDF files: It can copy, move, or delete pages of PDF files. (rPdfOp functions.)
  • It can also make pages searchable. (rPdfOpMergeTextToPages)
  • Document-level PDF compacting is also possible. (rPdfCompact)
• Optimizing format, version and content of PDF files, including converting a PDF to PDF/A. (rPdfOpt functions.)

RecPDF is a mostly operation based API. The page-level modifications are passed to the operation, and at the end the operation executes all of the changes at the same time. Operations can be cancelled as well if it turns out that no modification is needed.
