Storage Location Definition
Each storage location must have a unique name, although more than one capture profile can use the same storage location. To set the storage location, browse to either a UNC path or a mapped drive.

Browsing to places the UNC path in the Storage Directory field. When running in a capture server or network station environment, we strongly recommend using UNC paths.

When the storage location path is modified, the change is not applied to existing batches or document types. The storage location must be reselected after modifying a capture profile configuration.
Storage locations are used for the following purposes:

Shared location

Batch Storage only
-
Migration path only
A shared location can be either a batch storage or a migration path.
