The user interface and documentation are fully rebranded to reflect the current product name, Kofax PSIsafe Web. Earlier product versions did not include Kofax branding, as they were released prior to the acquisition of PSIGEN Software, Inc. by Kofax, Inc.

Please note the following changes related to rebranding:

• PSIsafe Web: Renamed to Kofax PSIsafe Web

• PSIsafe: Renamed to Kofax PSIsafe

• PSIsafe API: Renamed to Kofax PSIsafe API

File transfer performance

Improvements to the architecture of file uploads via the PSIsafe API enhance the ability for users to upload and download large files without errors in a cloud environment.

Support for TLS 1.3

To meet Kofax security standards, Transport Layer Security (TLS) version 1.3 is supported for both PSIsafe Web and the PSIsafe API.

Draggable Preview Panel

This feature supports previewing documents in a separate panel that can be easily dragged from one monitor to another.

Document-level indexing

You can add, edit or delete document-level indexes from documents. This capability improves metadata support.

Document search

Easily locate documents and edit document-level indexes stored within the system based on the search criteria you specify. Easily save searches for repeated use.

Folder search

Easily locate folders stored within the system based on the search criteria you specify.

Tab selection

End-users will now select tabs from a drop-down menu, which provides more usable space on the monitor.

Folder index input with mask validation

Use this feature to enter Folder Index data with mask validation, simplifying data entry and protecting against incorrect data being entered into the index field.

Document Check-In, Check-Out, Undo Check-Out

While working with documents, you can check-in, check-out, or undo a check-out. When collaborating on documents, this feature supports the ability to protect multiple users from overwriting one another's changes.

Trace folder and document

You can display Trace information on a folder and document, providing a chain of custody on actions performed on the document.

Attachment presentation

Improved the attachment process and the visibility of attachments for one or more documents. Attachments are now presented as an icon with a paper clip. By selecting the icon, the list of attachments is presented.
