PaperPort provides a variety of buttons located on ribbons and bars to make commands, features and information readily accessible while you work with PaperPort.
Ribbons on the PaperPort desktop contain PaperPort command buttons available when the PaperPort desktop is displayed. Ribbons are identified with their tab names, and each ribbon is divided to command groups as follows:
Desktop ribbon: Scan, Function Pane, View, Refresh, Workspace, Open, Options
Edit ribbon: Clipboard, Undo, Selection
Item ribbon: PDF Security (PaperPort Professional only), Document, Copy, Stack, SET Tools
Tools ribbon: Folder, Search, Extras, Links
Help ribbon: PaperPort, Documents, Kofax, About, Upgrade
Ribbons in the Image View window and in the ImageViewer program contain PaperPort command buttons. Ribbons are identified with their tab names, and each ribbon is divided to command groups as follows:
Page ribbon: SET Area Tools, SET Page Tools, SET Imaging Tools
Edit ribbon: Clipboard, Undo, Annotations, Selection, Find
View ribbon: Desktop, Zoom, View Options
Annotation ribbon: Annotation Tools, Annotation Settings
Help ribbon: PaperPort, Documents, Kofax, About, Upgrade
The Quick Access Toolbar is highly customizable to contain buttons most frequently used by the given user.
The Send To bar at the bottom of the PaperPort desktop shows icons of linked programs you can use with PaperPort items. Drag and drop an item from the PaperPort desktop to any icon on the Send To bar.
The Status bar at the bottom of the PaperPort window displays information about an item, such as the current folder, the selected item name, the white and black point values, the dots per inch value at which the item was scanned, and the item size. It also describes the current command or action.
Note
There is no Upgrade group with the Upgrade button in PaperPort Professional.

The Page Thumbnail Toolbar

contains buttons for handling thumbnails of scanned pages.
