DMS support

In Power PDF Advanced, you can open files from a Document Management System (DMS) and save PDF files back to a DMS. See System Requirements for details on the supported DMS systems. The menu items listed below offer DMS items only if a supported DMS is detected on your computer. They also access Cloud storage sites.

To open a file from a Document Management System

  1. Select the Connectors ribbon, select the desired Document Management System and click the Open tool.

  2. In the dialog box, enter your authentication information, then click OK.

  3. Select a file type and files in the Open dialog box and click OK.

  4. In the Version dialog box, select the latest file version or one of the previous versions according to your needs.

Tip:

In addition to PDF files, you can open a wide range of other file types. PDF files are opened directly, while image and XPS files are converted internally to PDF format. Editable formats such as Microsoft Office or WordPerfect documents are converted to PDF with no interaction, using existing settings that are available when you select the Power PDF printer in a Print dialog box and click Properties.

To save PDF files to a Document Management System

  1. Select the Connectors tab, select the desired Document Management System and click the related Save to command.

  2. Save the file to the DMS as a new document, new or same version, or revert to the original version.

To insert pages into a current document from a DMS

Select Home > Pages > Insert, then select Open from DMS. Log on, then select a file and the pages to insert.
