Start KTA Process
The Start KTA Process step starts a new process running on Kofax TotalAgility (KTA). The step does not wait for the process to complete the execution but assigns the resulting job ID to a variable, so that the result of the execution can be monitored.
Properties
- KTA Installation Name
- Specify the name of the Kofax TotalAgility installation to use. To add and configure a new Kofax TotalAgility installation, navigate to the tab in the Management Console. For more information, see KTA Configurations.
- Category
- In Kofax TotalAgility, processes are grouped into named categories. Specify the category associated with the process as set in the Process entry.
- Process
- Specify the name of the process to start.
- Initialization Data

Add the inputs for Kofax TotalAgility.
The definition of the process in Kofax TotalAgility specifies a number of inputs or "initialization variables" that must be given values to start the process. Each of these must be added to the list in the Start KTA Process step, stating with the variable Id and an expression that provides its Value. - Job ID
- Specify the name of the Text type variable to receive the job ID once the Kofax TotalAgility process is started.
