Special knowledge is needed for creating useful DCL expressions. It is very easy to make a mistake or change syntax in a way that would have a negative impact on production. Please consult an expert before attempting to write or edit a DCL expression. A detailed document called Writing DCL Programs for Legacy ReadSoft Products can be requested from your Lexmark representative.

If you incorrectly edit an expression, you can restore the default setting by clicking the inheritance property state button until it changes back to linked (which is the default setting).
