When Capture Components Administration is set up to store logs in the file system, it is a good idea to regularly purge old log files. The system can be set up to purge log files automatically when the Administration module starts:
On the
tab, expand and click .In the right pane, double-clickPurging.

.To delete files older than a specific number of days or months:
Select
.Type a number in the left box.
Click the up or down arrow to select
or .To delete files larger than a specific size:

Note: Logs are often stored in different folders for different users. For example, there may be a dedicated service user who has his own log folder.
