Deactivating a business rule

The XBOUND system executes all business rules that are not deactivated.

1. Using the XBOUND Management Center, open a console containing the Validation Designer. (For information about working with consoles, see XBOUND Help.)
2. Under Process Navigation, select a process.

3. Click the Check out button ().

4. Select File > Open.

5. In the Open business rule group or form dialog, select a business rule group to open and click OK.

6. Click an item under Document types. The business rules defined for that item are then displayed in the right pane, under Business logic.

7. Deselect the appropriate box in the Active column.

If you want the system to execute a business rule again, select Active again.
