Deleting a business rule library

If any of the business rule templates are in use, you can see the details and decide if you want the program to delete the rule(s) from all clients and processes.

  1. Using the XBOUND Management Center, open a console containing the Validation Designer. (For information about working with consoles, see XBOUND Help.)
  2. Select File > Libraries.

Note: Libraries is disabled if a process is checked out. Any process that is checked out must first be checked in.

  3. In the Business rule libraries dialog, select a business rule library and click the button.

  4. A dialog is displayed where you need to confirm the deletion.

If any of the assembly's templates are still in use, a message will tell you so, and you can click Details to see which of them are in use and in which processes.

In either case, confirm by clicking Yes. In the latter case, the business rules are removed from all clients and processes. The assembly and all of its business rule templates is then also deleted.

If you click No, nothing is deleted – the operation is canceled.
