The User or User group dialog: Administration rights settings

ClosedTo access this dialog:

Either basic or role-based user management must be enabled.

  1. On the Configuration or Supervision tab of the Administration module, expand System specifications.

  2. Click Usersor User groups.

  3. In the right pane, double-click a user or user group.

  4. Expand User rights and click Administration rights.

Use these settings to give administration rights to a user or user group:

Allows managing global policies.

Manage tables

Allows creating, modifying, and deleting tables.

Manage add-on configurations

Allows adding, modifying, and deleting add-ons.

Allows creating, modifying, and deleting scanning specifications.

Manage countries and languages

Allows creating, modifying, and deleting country specifications and language specifications.

Manage templates

Allows creating, modifying, and deleting templates.

Manage solution specifications

Allows creating and modifying solutions (which include document specifications, solution policies, compound documents, and batch specifications).

Manage task specifications

Allows creating, modifying, and deleting production tasks and maintenance tasks.

Manage staffing

Allows assigning staffing for a solution.

Deploy solutions

Allows deploying solutions.

Access to the Supervision tab

Allows access to the Supervision tab in the Administration module.

Access to the Maintenance tab

Allows access to the Maintenance tab in the Administration module.

Access to the Configuration tab

Allows access to the Configuration tab in the Administration module.

Clear databases

Allows clearing databases.
