It is possible to enable Windows authentication through Active Directory and to specify users and user groups in your Active Directory domains as users. Then users do not need to log on to DOCUMENTS separately; they are automatically logged on to the system when they log on to Windows. This can be enabled for the Administration and Production modules, and for the Invoice modules.
Nested Windows authentication groups (groups within groups) is supported as of DOCUMENTS 7-2 Patch 9..
