Accessing object properties

Most program objects that you see in the Administration module, from runtime and solution specifications to users and fields or classifiers, have properties associated with them that either describe the object or tell the program how the object is to be used. Some properties are similar for all objects (such as Name, Description, Creation date, and Last modified date). Others are unique to the type of object.

Most object properties are accessed in the same way:

  1. Using the Administration module, navigate to the place in the program where the object resides.

  2. Right-click the object and select Properties.

For information about the properties of a specific type of object, please look up the object on the Index tab of this help.
