This procedure is similar for many objects in the program. To rename an object and provide a description for it:
Using the Administration module, right-click any object and select .
Select > .
In the box, type a new name for the object.
In the box, type a description for the object. For example, explain what the object is used for.
To enable/disable a field/column in a table field, open a field from the dialog: settings for table fields, and select/deselect .
Optional: Click the link button
to "break the link" with the template that the object was based on. This prevents the object from being updated when you change the template.
If you break the link, you cannot restore it.
A document specification is never linked to a template, though you can base a document specification on a template when you create one. A solution, on the other hand, is always linked to a template, and you cannot break that link. The button is therefore disabled.
When you break an object's link to a template, the property state buttons are temporarily disabled. If you need to access them, close the dialog and reopen it.
