Deleting a scanning specification

Note: You must have user rights to manage scanning specifications. These rights are set in the User or User group dialog: Administration rights settings.

To delete a scanning specification:

  1. On the Configuration tab of the Administration module, expand System specifications and click Scanners.

  2. In the right pane, double-click the scanner.

  3. Select General > Scanning specifications.

  4. In the Available scanning specifications list, click the scanning specification.

    Note: You cannot delete predefined scanning specifications. You can only delete specifications created by users. The Issued by column shows you who created the scanning specification.

  5. Click Delete.
