Use this procedure to define user-defined batch variables that are similar to the standard batch variables. User-defined variables are used the same way as standard batch data. More information.
Using the Manager, click the Batch report layouts object bar. Double-click the batch report layout where you want to add a new batch variable.
In the Batch report layout dialog, type a name and format for your new variable.
Click OK.
