If you want batch numbers to increment automatically, select Auto increment batch no. in the Batching dialog.
The first batch number will be the number in Batch no. For example, if Batch no. is 0, then the first batch is batch number 0, the second is number 1, the third is number 2, and so on. The batch number is incremented and saved at the end of a Scan session, so when you start a new Scan session, batch numbering continues from where it left off.
When you select Auto increment batch no. in a Scan job description that two or more Scan modules run the same job at the same time, avert potential problems by inserting the BatchNumberTableName setting in Ehglobal.ini.
