Instead of using batches, you can use scan-only batches.
Scan-only batches only affect Scan processing. You get most of the advantages of using batches in Scan:
A scheme for locating the paper forms after archiving.
Forms divided into manageable quantities during scanning.
A summary of information from each batch to help you ensure the integrity of the captured data.
The forms in a scan-only batch are not kept together in Interpret, Verify, and Transfer. There they are processed as if they were scanned without batching.
With scan-only batching, you cannot delete batches immediately after scanning. If you need the possibility of deleting batches immediately after scanning, but do not want to keep batches together during verification and transfer, user normal batching (with a batch definition) but select Release forms from batches after interpretation (or Release sets from batches after interpretation) in the Batch definition dialog.
With scan-only batches, batch data can be included in the transaction.
Only one set definition can be included.
Scan-only batches do not affect Interpret, Verify, or Transfer, except that you can include batch data in transactions.
The forms contained in scan-only batches are managed the same as non-batched forms are.
