Use these settings to create and edit batch definitions.

Batch prefix |
Specifies a Batch prefix. This setting is optional. |

Batch size |
The size of the batch. (See examples.) This setting is required. If you do not specify the batch size, the dialog cannot be closed by clicking OK. |

If you do not want the first batch to be number 1, change this value. |

Print batch report |
Prints batch reports when you scan batches. (More info.) |

Form definitions |
Displays the names of the form definitions that you selected for the batch definition. If you selected a set definition, the form definitions it contains are listed in the Form definitions box. |

Set definition |
If you selected a set definition for the batch, the set definition name is displayed in the Set definition box. |

Release forms from batches after interpretation |
When you select this option, Verify and Transfer handle the forms as if they had not been included in batches. Forms are saved by themselves after interpretation. There is no way to get the forms back into batches again, although batch data can be included in the transaction. The advantage is that Verify operators work with individual forms rather than entire batches. This option simulates scan-only batching, except that:
