A copy field is an area on the form that you want to save to an image file. This is another way of exporting field images and can be combined with that operation.
All copy fields on one form are saved to the same file. Field images exported from the form, if any, are also saved to this file, unless you choose a file format that does not support multiple images per file, in which case separate files are created.
When not combined with exporting field images, copy fields are saved to TIFF files.
Copy fields have the following restrictions:
They cannot be interpreted, validated or verified.
You cannot access or change the contents of a copy field in any FORMS process.
Data from a copy field cannot be included in a transaction.
