Tips
Adjustment and recognition fields normally need to be defined first.
Exception: The opposite is true if you are creating a form definition that uses flexible forms.
Fields are interpreted in the order in which you define them. If a specific interpretation order is required, define the fields in that order. (Usually the interpretation order is of no consequence.)
Create field definitions by marking or drawing field areas (boxes or other areas for information) and then specifying the details in the Field dialog.
Steps in the process of defining fields:
Define 3 to 5 adjustment fields.
Define a recognition field, if needed. XXX If we ever change the numbering of these steps, change the text in "Defining a form definition with flexible forms"!
Define all other fields, including:
Typing a field name
Specifying the field format, in most cases
Specifying various options, depending on the field type
Specifying field validations, when appropriate
Specifying advanced options and validation routines, when appropriate
