FORMS is compatible with a number of external interpretation engines. One of these is RecoStar. ReadSoft offers an integration with RecoStar 4.4 Professional. (Note: RecoStar 4.4 Pro is newer than RecoStar 4.9.) In addition to FORMS, you need:
ReadSoft’s RecoStar program
The actual RecoStar engine
A package is available through ReadSoft. If you already have the RecoStar engine, ReadSoft’s RecoStar extension can be purchased separately.
When you install the RecoStar engine, refer to the instructions supplied with the RecoStar package. The engine is copy-protected with a separate hardware dongle that is placed in the parallel port of the PC.
When you install the interface, follow the instructions in the file included with the package.
