Using the Manager, choose ð Statistics. In the Statistics dialog, you control if and how statistics files are saved to files for all of the production modules.

Setting |
Description |
| Save statistics |
FORMS saves statistics files automatically in all modules until you change this setting again. That is, this setting is not saved to a particular form definition or job; it applies to all FORMS processes. |
| Save field statistics |
The interpretation statistics for individual fields are saved for all Interpret jobs until you change the setting again. That is, this setting is not saved to a particular form definition or job; it applies to all forms processed in Interpret. |
| Path for statistics files |
Specify the directory in which statistics files are to be saved automatically. Unless you accept the default directory, click the Browse button and specify the directory in which statistics files are to be saved automatically. |
| Add to file |
FORMS adds new statistics to the end of existing statistics files. Type a file name without an extension. FORMS adds the extension automatically: .SJS for Scan, .IJS for Interpret, .VJS for Verify, and .TJS for Transfer statistics. |
| Automatic name |
FORMS automatically creates new files with names in the format YMMDDIII, plus the extension (see above). Y stands for year, MM for month, DD for day, and III for the index that is incremented for each file created. Example: 80201001.SJS is the first file created on February 1, 2008. Subsequent files created on that day would be named 80201002.SJS, 80201003.SJS, etc. |
| Ask for file name |
FORMS prompts you to type the file name and path each time statistics are saved. |
If you do not want to save statistics for all jobs automatically, you can also save statistics in each production module manually by selecting ð Save after you run each job.
If you choose to save statistics automatically (Save statistics), you can (in each module, after each job) select ð View to see the name of the file to which the statistics were saved. If no name is indicated, then no statistics were saved, and you can save them manually by selecting ð Save.
