In the View menu of the Manager and Verify modules, you can set how the form is displayed on the screen. In a Verify job description you can also predefine how all the forms are to be displayed by clicking Image display on the Verify tab.
These settings affect only presentation. They are not saved to image files and do not affect interpretation. If you want to affect how images are saved and interpreted, see Scanner settings or Image filters.
In the Scale group box, you can set the size of the form displayed on the screen. You can also change the image by using the keyboard shortcuts F2, F3 and F4.
Select Automatic to let FORMS determine the scale, or select one of the predefined scale factors None (no scale factor), Fit horizontally, Fit vertically and Fit screen.
Or select your Custom scale factor, and then use the scroll bar to change the factor. Move the scroll bar to the right to reduce the image, because the size of the form is divided by the scale factor. For example, a scale factor of 5 results in the image being 1/5 of its normal size.
In the Color depth group box, choose how you want to view the image:
In 2 colors (black and white)
In 256 colors (grayscale) – only available with color or grayscale scanning
In true color (as scanned) – only available with color or grayscale scanning
Any adjustments made in the Color conversion dialog to improve interpretation affect the grayscale and black and white image.
