is a setting in the dialog.
When you scan forms, Low image quality permits deviations in the length and width of the scanned page compared with the form definition. The DPI can be lower than specified. Such deviations and low DPI are generally the result of a form having been received by facsimile but can also have other causes, such as poor copying that reduces the image quality.
Use this option only when necessary, because the potential for misidentifying forms increases as the program’s tolerance increases.
When you import image files to Interpret, indicates an image scanned with this setting or received by facsimile.
Most fax cards have an option to save received faxes in a specific directory on the PC. Then Interpret can import images from this directory, and the Low image quality setting helps FORMS to recognize the special quality of those images.
When Low image quality is selected, Interpret permits deviations of up to 10% in image length and width. The DPI can be as low as 80. You may also want to select Identify rotated forms, as well, since facsimiles are often received backwards.
