Use these settings to change the status of a form definition. These statuses are available:

Inactive |
..are in the process of being created. You can make any changes you wish. Exception: The image of the form cannot be replaced or readjusted. |

Active |
...are ready to be used in production. No new fields can be defined. Existing fields cannot be moved or renamed. Only certain details of field definitions can be changed. If you want to change the status of an active form definition, or delete it, you must first ensure that there are no forms of this type in FORMS' databases. |

Deactivated |
...are no longer used in production. After you change the status to deactivated, you can still process any forms that remain in the system, but you cannot scan new ones. |
