Getting information about an individual form

While you are verifying forms, you can get information about any form by selecting Form ð Information or Extended information.

Type of information

More details

How many of each form type are currently in the system and how many of those have been verified

At the top of both dialogs is an area that shows how many of each form type are currently in the system and how many of those have been verified. When FORMS is running in a network, it can take a lot of time to retrieve this information. If you are not interested in this particular information, change ShowOnlyFormInfo=0 in the [Verify] section of Ehlocal.ini to ShowOnlyFormInfo=1. This enables FORMS to get the other information much faster.

Verification speed

The speed at which you have been working, in forms per minute and keystrokes per minute. The statistics are updated every 10 seconds. The statistics are reliable only after the first minute of a job, when there is a firm basis for the calculation.

Batch information

The batch number and index, as well as the date and time when the forms were scanned.

Set information (if you are verifying sets)

The current set number in the batch, and the index (sequence number) of the set. Note: Extended form information for a set is only available if batches are also used.

Names of files containing exported images*

Export file page 1 indicates the name and path of the image file FORMS exported the form to, if any. If the form is two-sided, then Export file page 2 indicates the file name of the back page. (See Exporting form images from FORMS.)

Export file containing field images indicates the file name of the file containing images of fields from the form, if such field images were exported. (See Exporting field images from FORMS.)

Names of files containing imported images*

Import file page 1 indicates the file name, if the source of the form is external or an imported image file. If the form is two-sided, then Import file page 2 indicates the file name of the back page. (See Creating/editing an Interpret job description.)

ASCII data supplied by FORMS API

When your forms come from an external source, you can use FORMS API to send any ASCII data through FORMS along with the forms you supply. That Form information can then be included in the transfer. It also appears in the Extended information dialog.

The number of appendices attached to the form

Updated after automatic removal of appendices.

* When image file names or paths contain spaces, this dialog displays them with underscores instead of spaces. Example:

Actual file name and path: c:\my images\...\123456aq.tif

Displayed in Extended information dialog: c:\my_images\...\123456aq.tif.
