Enabling user authorization

Warning

Before you turn on user authorization, ensure that at least one user has administrator rights. If you are unsure, check this in the User dialog: Access rights.

  1. Using Manager, select Settings > User authorization.

  2. In the User authorization dialog, choose which modules require user authorization.

Note: Requiring user authorization does not necessarily mean that users must manually log in to the module. Network authorization is also supported, which makes the process automatic. The authorization type is set up when you define users, in the User selection settings. (More information.)

Strongly recommended: Ensure that there will always be someone present who has access to everything.
